With the commitment to continuously "Make THE Difference" back to the society, TMB has claimed 3 Asian CSR awards in the past year. This year, we has launched FAI-FAH IN A BOX 2016 projects.
Khun Chompoonoot Pathomporn, Head of Branch Banking TMB, mentioned that FAI-FAH IN A BOX is a sustainable giving project leveraging on TMB nationwide branch employees to drive and work with the local communities to understand and solve the issues together. The project would build the career, generate the income, and encourage the learning to sustainbly develop the community and society. This year, there would be 37 projects which is double figure from last year, with the asssitance of approximately 6,000 volunteer covering all regions of 450 branches. "TMB Make THE Difference" philosophy would be adopted for sustainable and great benefit of the communities
37 projects would be divided into 3 phases with 3-month duration for each project. TMB branch employees as volunteers would survey and select the community that has need and ready to make the difference, while TMB head office employees as volunteer would raise fund. Example of first phase projects are "Talad Rak Pan Din" (Love The Earth Market) project in Nakorn Ratchasima to build the green market for vegetables and provide agriculture knowledge to maximize land resources, "Rueng Lao Chao Mon" (Mon Tribe Story) project in Pathum Thani to perpetuate Mon tribe culture of embroidery, "Anurak Pa Tor Mue" (Hand Woven Fabric) project in Bangkok to provide knowledge of packaging design and create the community of expertise to pass on the knowledge.
